My family and I love the outdoors and Yosemite Valley is our version of Disney World. There is no other place quite like it, massive walls of granite, beautiful redwood trees, gorgeous waterfalls and some of the best hiking in the country. This all makes for Yosemite being one of my biggest inspirations.
The process started last summer when I was backpacking the John Muir Trail. I make a quick sketch as we drove into the park and found our way to the trailhead. Upon returning home I turned it into a vector file on Illustrator and continued to work on it until just recently. Finally, I printed it onto a transparent film and burned it onto a screen then my kids helped me press the shirt!
It has become one of our favorite pieces of art in the house and now it can be your too!
